St. Lucia is
presently implementing the Caribbean
Planning for Adaptation to Climate Change project, a regional
aimed at mitigating/reducing the effects of climate change
on the islands of the Caribbean region.
The Project
Objective is:
To support
Caribbean countries, following a regional approach, in preparing
to cope with the adverse effects of global climate change, particularly
sea-level rise, in coastal and marine areas through vulnerability
assessment, adaptation planning, and capacity building.

The Bahamas
Jamaica
Barbados
Belize
Dominica
Grenada
Guyana
St Kitts and Nevis
St Vincent and the Grenadines
Trinidad and Tobago
This project
is being coordinated by the St. Lucia's National Climate Change
