Caribbean Planning for Adaptation to Climate Change


St. Lucia is presently  implementing the Caribbean Planning for Adaptation to Climate Change project, a regional aimed at mitigating/reducing the effects of  climate change on the islands of the Caribbean region.

The Project Objective is:

To support Caribbean countries, following a regional approach, in preparing to cope with the adverse effects of global climate change, particularly sea-level rise, in coastal and marine areas through vulnerability assessment, adaptation planning, and capacity building.

Participating countries in CPACC are:

    St Lucia

    Antigua and Barbados

    The Bahamas    

    Jamaica

    Barbados

    Belize           

    Dominica 

    Grenada

    Guyana

    St Kitts and Nevis

    St Vincent and the Grenadines              

    Trinidad and Tobago
